WVU Splits Squads at Bryan Clay Invitational, Mountaineer Showcase

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team splits action this weekend, competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, April 16-18, while also hosting the Mountaineer Showcase in Morgantown, April 17.
The Bryan Clay Invitational begins Thursday at 10:30 a.m., continues Friday at 10 a.m. and concludes Saturday at 11:30 a.m. The Mountaineer Showcase will be held Friday at 10 a.m.
At the Bison Outdoor Classic, WVU was led by Alyssa Sauro's third place finish in the 5,000 meters (16:20.18). Eva Craigie added a fifth place finish in the long jump (5.71m), while Mary Delaney paced the Mountaineers in the 1,500 meters with a 4:28.90 performance.
