
Women’s Basketball Announces Exhibition Against Fairmont State

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team has announced the addition of a preseason exhibition game against Fairmont State inside the Hope Coliseum on Sunday, Oct. 26, at approximately 6:30 p.m. ET.
The contest will be played 45 minutes after the conclusion of the men's exhibition game against Wheeling, which is slated for 4 p.m. Admission and parking to the women's pre-season event will be free of charge for fans wishing to attend the event.
Fans can get their first look at the 2025-26 Mountaineers, which includes returners in seniors Jordan Harrison, Sydney Shaw, Sydney Woodley, and Celia Riviere and sophomore Jordan Thomas. Newcomer transfers include Gia Cooke (Houston), Loghan Johnson (Texas Tech), Riley Makalusky (Butler), Carter McCray (Wisconsin), Kierra Wheeler (Norfolk State), as well as incoming freshman Madison Parrish.
