MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – It's game week!
The West Virginia University Mountaineers kick off their 133
rd football season on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 2.p.m. inside Milan Puskar Stadium against the Robert Morris Colonials, coached by former Miami standout linebacker Bernard Clark Jr.
Clark is beginning his eighth season in Coraopolis after leading the Colonials to a 7-5 overall record last season in the Northeast Conference. Clark has brought in a handful of power conference transfers this fall, and Robert Morris is predicted to finish third in the Northeast this season.

Game week begins tonight with the
Rich Rodriguez Radio Show, live from Kegler's Sports Bar and Grille, airing from 6-8 p.m. each week when the Mountaineers are playing.
The show is hosted by popular play-by-play voice
Tony Caridi and will air exclusively on
Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield affiliates and the Varsity Network app.
On Tuesday, Rodriguez's weekly media conference will take place inside the Milan Puskar Center team room beginning at noon and will last until approximately 12:35 p.m. Once more this year, Rodriguez's remarks will be carried live on participating
Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield affiliates and hosted by Andrew and
Tony Caridi.
Rodriguez's press conference will also stream live on
Facebook (WVU Football) and on
X (@wvusports) social media sites. Following Rodriguez, defensive coordinator
Zac Alley and select Mountaineer players also will be made available and those interviews, along with Rodriguez's, will be archived and posted later that day on
WVUsports.com, Mountaineer football's official
YouTube channel (WVU Sports) and the
relaunched WVU Sports App available on the App Store and Google Play Store by searching WVU Sports.
On Wednesday, the United Bank Playbook and the game preview will post on
WVUsports.com and the WVU Sports App that afternoon, along with the official game release produced by the Football Communications staff.
