2025 Fall Schedule Announced for Tennis

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2025 fall tennis schedule.
The Mountaineers will begin the fall competing in the Bedford Cup from Sept. 19-21, in College Park, Maryland.
West Virginia will then compete in Thunder in the Mountains from Sept. 26-28, in Charleston. W.Va. The Mountaineers play at home only once during the fall slate, hosting the Martha Thorn Invitational from Oct. 3-5, in Morgantown.
WVU will also take part in the Wahoowa Invite in Charlottesville, Virginia, from Oct. 10-12.
West Virginia completes the fall season at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Regional in Blacksburg, Va., from Oct. 16-21.
The 2025-26 WVU roster is highlighted by three returners. Graduate student Julie Bousseau and sophomores Laura Villanueva Morillo and Lyla Byers, all finished with at least 10 wins in the spring.
The Mountaineers welcome four newcomers as seniors Audrey Moutama and Daniella Shved and freshmen Lucia Tognoni and Zuzana Saxana Kudlácková join the team.
