
West Virginia Travels to Virginia for Dalton Ebanks Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team will head to the Dalton Ebanks Invitational on April 4-5. The invitational will be hosted by George Mason at the George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Virginia.

Friday's competition is scheduled to begin at noon ET, followed by a 10 a.m. start on Saturday.
West Virginia is slated to race in the women's 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 5,000 meters, 3,000-meter steeplechase, 400-meter hurdles, 4x400 meter relay. Additionally, WVU will compete in the high jump and long jump.
Last time out, the Mountaineers had an impressive showing at the Raleigh Relays on March 28-29 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The meet was highlighted by freshmen Joy Naukot and Naomi Kemboi who shattered program records in their respective events. Naukot posted a time of 32:21.84 in the women's 10,000 meters while Kemboi slated a time of 15:39.19 in the 5,000 meters.
