MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team lost to BYU, 4-0, at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown on Saturday.
It was a rough start for West Virginia (6-13, 0-8 Big 12) as it lost two of the three doubles matches to fall behind, 1-0.
In singles play, the BYU Cougars continued its strong play as it won three matches to clinch the victory. In the No. 1 seed match, senior
Mille Haagensen suffered a tough loss to Bobo Huang, 6-1, 6-3.

Julie Bousseau lost in the No. 2 spot and freshman
Laura Villanueva Morillo fell in the No. 5 seed match as West Virginia lost its ninth consecutive match.
