
Track and Field Announces 2025-26 Indoor Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team has announced its 2025-26 schedule.
The Mountaineers open the season on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Youngstown Icebreaker, followed by a trip to the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday, Dec. 6.
WVU returns to action after winter break on Friday, Jan. 16 at the YSU 14th Annual Collegiate Indoor Track & Field Invitational.
The team then heads to University Park, Pa. for the Penn State National Open, held Jan. 30-31, before competing again at Penn State for the Sykes & Sabock Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The Mountaineers will visit Youngstown once more for the YSU 2nd Annual Collegiate Last Chance Meet on Friday, Feb. 13, followed by the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
WVU closes the regular season at the Penn State Tune-Up on Friday, Feb. 20.
Postseason competition begins with the Big 12 Indoor Championships, hosted by Texas Tech from Feb. 27-28. Qualifying athletes will advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships, held March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
