
Mountaineers Take on Texas A&M in First True Road Game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team is set to close out the nonconference portion of its schedule on Sunday when they take on Texas A&M inside Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
Tipoff against the Aggies is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. Thursday's contest will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 100.9 FM, with Andrew Caridi on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Varsity Network App.

West Virginia (9-2) and Texas A&M (6-1) meet for the fourth time in program history. The Mountaineers are 1-2 in the all-time series. The Mountaineers claimed last season's meeting in Morgantown by a final score of 83-62.
The Mountaineers are looking to collect their third win against a Power 4 opponent this season. With a win, West Virginia will win its 10th nonconference game of the season. It will mark the third straight season WVU has reached the mark.
During the last three seasons, the Mountaineers are 30-3 in nonconference action and 37-3 when playing any game inside the confines of Hope Coliseum and are 11-10 on the road. Against Power Five opponents, Kellogg's teams are 33-18 at West Virginia.
