
WVU Closes Out Home Nonconference Slate Against Georgia Tech

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team is set to close out home nonconference action on Thursday when they take on Georgia Tech inside Hope Coliseum.
Tipoff against the Yellow Jackets is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and gates open at 6 p.m. Thursday's contest will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 94.3 FM, with Andrew Caridi on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on the Varsity Network App.

Fans are encouraged to wear gold for the first Gold Rush of the season. Don't miss our annual Teddy Bear Toss at halftime, with all stuffed animals being collected and donated. Wheeler is 50 rebounds shy of hitting 1,000 in her career.
Senior guards Sydney Shaw (12.8) and Jordan Harrison (11.8) are also averaging double figures this season. Shaw has scored 938 career points and is 62 points away from career milestone 1,000.
