
Olympic Sports Coaches Show Set for November

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield has announced the November schedule for its popular WVU Olympic Sports Coaches Show live from the Mountain State Brewing Company in Morgantown.
The show has three dates scheduled in November with volleyball head coach Jen Greeny getting the month started on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Rifle coach Jon Hammond will appear on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and wrestling coach Tim Flynn closes the three shows on Wednesday, Nov. 19. All appearances are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company's location on Monongahela Boulevard and will be hosted by Andrew Caridi.
"We are at the height of a busy fall season, and we appreciate our coaches taking time to appear on the show and interact with our tremendous fan base," WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Matt Wells said. "The three November shows offer different perspectives as one team is in the final stretch of its season, while the other two are at the start of their journey."
Greeny's Mountaineers got their season off to a 12-0 start and have three Big 12 matches (Nov. 14, 19, 21) scheduled in Hope Coliseum during the month. Hammond's Mountaineers are in the midst of defending their 2024 national championship, which marked the 20th in school history. Flynn's appearance will come after wrestling's home opener on Nov. 16 against Princeton, Appalachian State. and Glenville in the Mountaineer Quad.
For those not in attendance, the one-hour shows will be archived and available the following day on several listening options such as the Varsity Network App, the Apple Podcast Stream, and the WVUSports.com audio on demand feature located on the school's official athletic website.
