MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team (4-5, 0-0 Big 12) concludes the non-conference slate with a pair of matches against Fairfield on Sept. 20 and Binghamton on Sept. 21.
West Virginia will face the Stags on Friday, at 5 p.m. ET, inside of Leo D. Mahoney Arena in Fairfield, Connecticut. The Mountaineers will then travel to the Bronx, New York to take on Binghamton at 2 p.m., at the Rose Hill Gym.
Friday's match against Fairfield will be streamed live on ESPN+, while live stats for both matches can be found at WVUsports.com.
The Mountaineers fell, 3-1 to Virginia and ETSU on the first day of the Liberty Tournament on Sept. 13. West Virginia went on to defeat Liberty in the squads first sweep of the season, 3-0 on Sept. 15.

Cassidy Tanton leads WVU with 120 kills, and 19 service aces. Sophomore setter
Alexis Finnvold has also served up 19 aces, along with 317 assists.
Defensively, junior middle blocker
Laila Ibrahim tops the squads with 30 total blocks, while graduate student libero
Sydney Reed leads the Mountaineers with 129 digs.
Friday's match against Fairfield marks the second meeting between the Stags and the Mountaineers, as Fairfield leads the all-time series, 1-0. Fairfield captured the last meeting, 3-0, on Sept. 16, 2000.
Saturday's match with Binghamton will be the team's fourth meeting, with the last match between the two resulting in a 3-1 victory for West Virginia on Sept. 15, 2022.
