Four Mountaineers Selected to CSC Academic All-District Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Four student-athletes from the West Virginia University track & field team were named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Women's Track and Field Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
Redshirt senior Sarah Tait, seniors Ceili McCabe and Abigale Mullings, and junior Eden Williams were recognized with the academic honor.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
McCabe (master's in coaching and sport education) earned her second straight CSC Academic All-District honor while Mullings (psychology), Tait (master's in sport management) and Williams (biology) garnered the accolade for the first time in their careers.
McCabe was selected as a finalist on the CSC Academic All-America ballot, as the first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 9.
