
WVU Jumps to Fourth Place in Team Standings

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team jumped one spot to fourth place after two rounds of The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awedaw, South Carolina.
West Virginia shot 1-under-par on Monday and is 1-under-par for the tournament after rounds of 288-287 in the 15-team field.
Fifth-year senior Trent Tipton posted WVU's low round on Monday, shooting a 2-under-par 70. He is tied for 16th place with one round to go at Even par. Junior Max Green is tied for seventh place at 3-under-par. He shot a 74 today.
Senior Will Stakel and junior Todd Duncan shot Even par on Monday. Stakel is tied for 34th place at +2, while Duncan is +8 after 36 holes. Senior Jackson Davenport was +1 today and now sits at +2, tied for 34th place.
