MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three West Virginia University golfers are in the Top 20 after 36 holes of competition on Sunday at The Gopher Invitational at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minnesota.

Junior Aidan Dortch shot a 2-under-par 69 in the second round. Dortch (75-69) and sophomore Jack Michael are tied for 15th place at 2-over-par (71-73). Freshman Hogan Blais is competing in his first event as a Mountaineer and is tied for 19th place at +3 after rounds of 73-72. Junior Nick Turowski is +4 (73-73) in 27th place and junior Ryan Leach is +5 in 37th place with rounds of 72-75. Sophomore Brody Burgess is competing as an individual and is +8 (73-77).

West Virginia is tied for fourth place with Cincinnati in the team standings at +8. The Mountaineers were +5 in the first round and +3 in the second round. Oklahoma leads the 15-team field at Even par, followed by Georgia (+2) and Rutgers (+5). WVU has a four-shot advantage over sixth place Marquette.

The third and final round will take place on Monday beginning at 9:15 a.m. ET.
