Green Paces WVU in Florida

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University junior Max Green paced the Mountaineer golf team on the first day of the Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Florida.
After 36 holes of competition, Green is tied for 11th place with rounds of 67-70 (-3). Kaleb Wilson shot 75-67 (+2), Jackson Davenport recorded rounds of 72-70 (+2), Oli Ménard shot 71-76 (+6) and Todd Duncan posted rounds of 76-76 (+12).
The Mountaineers shot 285-282 and currently stand tied for eighth place out of 16 teams at 7-over-par.
Weather permitting, the final round will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
