MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior guard
Kyah Watson of the West Virginia women's basketball team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
The Rapid City, South Dakota native recorded her first double-double of the season notching a season-high 15 points and added 10 rebounds. She also finished with two steals, one assist, and a block in the Mountaineers 68-46 win over Temple on Sunday.
West Virginia stays the road this week for their first Big 12 Conference matchup of the season. The Mountaineers open conference play against Colorado in Boulder at the CU Events Center with tipoff set for 8 p.m. ET. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN+ and on the radio on the Mountaineer Sports Network.
