Torres Named Big 12 Men's Diver of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Christian Torres of the men's swimming and diving team has been named the Big 12 Men's Diver of the Week as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Torres won two events at the Rutgers Diving Invitational. Torres placed first on the 1-meter (283.05) and first on the 3-meter (292.85).
Torres is the second male WVU diver to earn the honor this season. Sophomore Owen Recker was named diver of the week in October.
West Virginia returns to action against Pitt on Jan. 11.
