
Rowing Heads to Pennsylvania with Split Squads for Fall Season Finale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University rowing team concludes its fall season with split squads this weekend as the varsity will scrimmage Duquesne in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Nov. 9, and the novice will travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, for the Bucknell Novice Regatta on Sunday, Nov. 10.
This regatta consists of 1000m dual races on the West Branch Susquehanna River, meaning the two teams competing will start at the same time. Other schools attending the event include Bucknell, Ithaca, Lehigh, RIT, Rochester, Susquehanna and Villanova. Racing will begin at 11 a.m. with WVU competing against Bucknell C. Following that, the Mountaineers will take on Susquehanna and Bucknell D.
