
Recker Named Big 12 Men's Diver of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Owen Recker of the men's swimming and diving team has been named the Big 12 Men's Diver of the Week as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Recker posted qualifying scores on the men's 1-meter and 3-meter for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships at the West Virginia State Games on Oct. 4-5. Recker placed second on the 3-meter (323.55) and first on the 1-meter (322.80).
Recker is the first male WVU diver to earn the conference honor since PJ Lenz during the 2020-21 season.

West Virginia returns to action at the team's Alumni Meet on Friday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown.
