
West Virginia Returns to University Park for Penn State National Open

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team is slated for the Penn State National Open on Friday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 27.
The meet will be held at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Friday marks the second trip to University Park for the Mountaineers this season, as they are one of 36 teams set to compete at the Penn State National Open.
West Virginia will compete in the women's 60-meter dash, the mile race, the 200 meters, the 600 meters, the 800 meters, the 1,000 meters, the 3,000 meters, the women's 4x400 meter relay, the women triple jump and the high jump.
Last time out, the Mountaineers competed at the YSU Collegiate Invitational on Friday, Jan. 19. West Virginia was led by freshman Kishay Rowe who finished first in the 400-meter run with a 56:18 finish.
