MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Five members of the West Virginia University track and field team have been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by CSC on Wednesday.
Seniors Tessa Constantine and Katherine Dowie, redshirt senior Mikaela Lucki, junior Ceili McCabe and redshirt junior Charlotte Wood were named to the All-District Team for their athletic and academic performances.
"These five exceptional athletes continue to make WVU proud," coach Sean Cleary said. "All five have been named to the All-Big 12 Track and Field Team in additional to qualifying at one point for the NCAA Championships as individuals. What more could we ask from this incredibly talented group of young women?"
Constantine has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her undergrad and graduate academic careers. The Sydney, Australia, native also holds the fourth-best spot in program history in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.31.
