West Virginia's Erik Stevenson averaged 25 points in a pair of wins to collect both Big 12 Men's Basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week in the final awards of the season.

The senior guard had a game-high 27 points in the win over No. 11 K-State on Senior Day and finished with 23 points in the road win at Iowa State earlier in the week. Stevenson shot 48.7 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from 3-point range. He hit nine 3-point field goals on the week. Stevenson has scored 23 or more points in five consecutive games heading into the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship.
