MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Eight members of the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators.
"Congratulations to these student-athletes for earning this academic honor. It's a result of their hard work in the classroom and pool," coach Vic Riggs said.
On the men's team, seniors Jonathan Bennett, Zach Boley, Conrad Molinaro and junior Justin Heimes were honored for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
For the women, seniors Jacqueline McCutchan, Tatum Peyerl, Marian Tiemeier, and junior Abby Reardon were recognized.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced at a later date.
