Trio of Mountaineers Named to CSC Academic All-District Volleyball Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three student-athletes from the West Virginia University volleyball team were named to the 2023 Academic All-District Volleyball Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
Fifth year libero Camilla Covas, redshirt senior setter Lauren DeLo and junior outside hitter Hailey Green were listed to represent the squad.
DeLo (master's in journalism) earned her second career honor, while Covas (master's in sport management) and Green (biology) picked up the first CSC accolade of their careers.
The 2023 Academic All-District Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in each of the four divisions listed as NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
