MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving head coach Vic Riggs has announced the addition of 13 student-athletes to the women's roster for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
 
"I'm pleased to welcome this class to our women's swimming and diving program and Mountaineer family," WVU Riggs said. "Each of these individuals bring the qualities and characteristics we look for in future student-athletes. I'm excited about their impact on our program and look forward to seeing them develop into strong young women."
 
Three student-athletes are set to join the diving team, while 10 others will be added to the swimming roster. Featured in the women's incoming class are Olivia Busch (Spring, Texas/Woodlands High), Mia Cheatwood (Bowling Green, Ohio/St. Ursula Academy), Lilly Culp (Tremont, Illinois/University of Illinois Chicago), Peyton "PJ" Day (Midland, Texas/Midland High), Elysa Grossman (Ann Arbor, Michigan/Dexter), Alyssa Heffelfinger (Waxhaw, North Carolina/Cuthbertson High), Makena Malkemus (Phoenix, Arizona/Verrado High), Gabriela Martin de la Torre (Las Gabias, Granada, Spain/IES Universidad Laboral), Mackenzie Pagett (State College, Pennsylvania/State College Area High), Kaylee Price (Medway, Ohio/Bethel High), Bella Reynolds (Southlake, Texas/Carroll Senior), Abigail Sullivan (Ostego, Mich./Otsego) and Ada Szwabinska (Olesnica, Poland/1st High School in Olesnica).
