Mountaineers Set for Carnegie Mellon Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team heads to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to compete in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational at Schenley Park. The women's 5k race is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET.

Saturday marks the first time WVU has ran in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
There are 16 schools competing in the meet.
In their last meet, the Mountaineers finished second at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic with 92 points. Redshirt junior Ceili McCabe led the way in the classic, finishing first and setting a new course record in the process.
