West Virginia Ranks No. 23 in Coaches Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team (18-4, 12-4 Big 12) checked in at No. 23 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll, announced Tuesday.
The Mountaineers received 127 points to rank No. 23. West Virginia is ranked behind No. 22 South Dakota State (21-2) and in front of No. 24 Florida Gulf Coast (21-2).
WVU is one of two Big 12 teams featured in this week's poll. Baylor (20-2, 15-1 Big 12) received 619 points and moved up to No. 6 this week.
Next up, the Mountaineers travel to Manhattan, Kansas, on Wednesday, March 3, for a showdown against Kansas State. Tip-off against the Wildcats is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with Brian Smoller and Missy Heidrick on the call.
