The Mountaineer Insider Podcast rings in 2020 with previews of two key Big 12 basketball games this weekend.
Our Dan Zangrilli visits with Texas Tech play-by-play man Geoff Haxton to get his thoughts on Saturday's 6 p.m. game against the Red Raiders at the sold-out WVU Coliseum.
Tech dropped a tough 57-52 decision to No. 4 Baylor on Tuesday night in Waco, but is looking for a second-straight victory in Morgantown after defeating the Mountaineers 62-59 last year.
On Sunday, the 19th-ranked West Virginia women will play Texas in a 1 p.m. matchup at the Coliseum that will be televised live on FS1.
Veteran FS1 announcer Ron Thulin stops by the podcast to give his thoughts on the game and Mike Carey's Mountaineers, now 12-1 following last Sunday's 68-49 win at Kansas.
