MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia remains home this Saturday to face Towson in a 1 p.m. clash at Milan Puskar Stadium.
On this week's Mountaineer Insider Podcast, our Andrew Caridi caught up with emerging sophomore defensive end Sean Martin, who played well in last Saturday's loss to Kansas, and, according to coach Neal Brown, is in line to get more playing time this weekend.
Towson's veteran play-by-play man Spiro Morekas stops by to talk about the Tigers and women's basketball coach Dawn Plitzuweit also gives us a sixth-month update on her program as her team continues its limited preseason work. Prior to the Towson game, West Virginia will be inducting its 32nd Hall of Fame class consisting of football's Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Geno Smith, men's basketball'sKevin Jones, women's basketball's Donna Abbott, All-American women's track and cross country performer Marie Louise-Asselin, national champion rifle coach Marsha Beasley and rifle pioneer Marilee Hohmann.
The event begins at 10 a.m. in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility and is free to the general public.
The GoMart Mountaineer Tailgate Show previewing the Towson game also begins at 10 a.m. on stations throughout West Virginia and online via WVUsports.com and the popular WVU Gameday and Varsity Network apps.
