2019 Promotional Slate Announced

Honolulu, Hawai'i – In addition to thrilling action on the court, promotions for several of the West Virginia University volleyball team's 11 regular-season home matches were announced by the WVU Athletic Marketing Office on Wednesday.
Fans can purchase tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU-GAME or at the Mountaineer Ticket Office, located at the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum. All tickets are general admission.
When purchasing online, tickets are $5 each and $3 for groups of 10 or more. At the WVU Coliseum ticket window, tickets will be $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors and $3 for groups. The discounted online pricing will be available until first serve on game day. Fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance online at WVUGAME.com to avoid lines at the gate.
Tickets for WVU students are free with a valid student I.D.
West Virginia officially opens its home slate, when the Mountaineers play host to Duquesne, Eastern Kentucky and Navy as part of the annual Mountaineer Invitational on Sept. 20-21. WVU will give away jersey koozies to the first 250 fans in attendance at Friday's home opener against the Dukes at 7 p.m. Additionally, Mountaineer Maniac students in attendance will receive free food and a giveaway item. Autographs also will take place following the match.
WVU will kick off Saturday's doubleheader event with free donuts and coffee to the first 100 fans, as the Mountaineers take on Eastern Kentucky at 10 a.m. West Virginia will return to the court later that evening, as the squad goes head-to-head with Navy at 7 p.m. The Mountaineers will host a canned food drive during their evening tilt. Fans who bring a canned food item to donate to The Rack, WVU's student food bank, are eligible for a discounted ticket ($3). The second autograph session of the year also will follow the match against the Midshipmen.
A t-shirt giveaway is scheduled for the 1 p.m. Oklahoma match, WVU's first Big 12 contest of the season, on Saturday, Sept. 28. Mountaineer Maniac students will receive free food and a giveaway item, and Mountaineer Kids Club members can pick up their t-shirts during the afternoon matchup. Additionally, the Mountaineers will sign autographs following the match.
The Oct. 5 match against Iowa State is free to the public and is part of WVU volleyball's alumni weekend, which starts with a social at Kegler's on Friday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. On Saturday, alums are invited to watch WVU volleyball take on the Cyclones at a time to be determined. There also will be a tailgate at the Varsity Club Tailgate Tent outside Milan Puskar Stadium prior to the WVU football game vs. Texas, also at a time to be determined. Saturday's match against national-championship contender Texas, slated for 1 p.m. on Oct. 19, will be a Gold Rush, where all fans are encouraged to wear gold. Coca-Cola will provide a giveaway item, and the Mountaineers will Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer. Additionally, the Mountaineers will sign autographs following the match.
West Virginia will welcome Kansas State on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m., and it is the first of two Dollar Nights planned for the year. All tickets and select concessions will be available for $1 each. Attendees also are invited to enter a Halloween costume contest and a pumpkin patch photo station will be set up for pictures. Additionally, the Mountaineers will pass out candy following the match.
The squad will then host a Luau Night on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m., against TCU. Mountaineer fans are encouraged to wear Hawaiian-themed gear, as the first 250 fans in attendance will receive a free lei. It also is the second and final Dollar Night promotion planned for the year. Additionally, Mountaineer Maniac students in attendance will receive free food and a giveaway item.
WVU's annual Pink match will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m., vs. Texas Tech. The team will don pink jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness. WVU Medicine will sponsor the match and will collect donations for the WVU Cancer Institute. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and can get the WVU sports official "pink" t-shirt with a donation of $10 or more to WVU Medicine. Mountaineer Kids Club members also can pick up their t-shirts during the afternoon matchup. Additionally, the Mountaineers will sign autographs following the match.
West Virginia closes its regular-season home slate against Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 30. It is Senior Day, and WVU will celebrate the careers of Gabrielle Cuckovich, Katelyn Evans and Erin Slinde following the match. Additionally, fans are encouraged to wear gold for the Mountaineers' second Gold Rush of the season. Mountaineer fans will receive a free WVU gold shaker or rally towel prior to the match. It's also Mountaineer Kids Club Day, and fans will have an opportunity to receive the Mountaineers' autographs one last time following the match.
