
WVU Professional Basketball Update - January

Our January update on former West Virginia University Mountaineers playing professionally in the States and overseas, courtesy of Sports I.T. Solutions and Eurobasket.com:
Jevon Carter (Memphis Grizzlies, NBA)– Failed to score in 15 minutes of action in Monday night's 105-85 loss to New Orleans. In 14 games this season, he is averaging 3.3 points, 1.8 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game
Da'Sean Butler (Hapeol Jerusalem, Israel)– Scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in helping Hapoel to a recent 90-82 victory over eighth-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona. Butler is averaging 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 11 games for 10-4 Hapoel, which is third in the Winner League standings.
Teyvon Myers (KFUM Jamtland Basket, Sweden)– Scored 34 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out three assists in a recent 99-95 loss to No. 3 BC Lulea. Myers is averaging 17.1 points, 3.5 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
D'or Fischer (Shiga L-Stars, Japan)- Had a 30-point, 12-rebound, double-double earlier this week in a 74-68 loss to Diamond Dolphins in a Japanese B-League game. He ended the regular season with averages of 14.2 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Gary Browne (Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona, Israel)– Scored 12 points and had seven assists in a recent 90-82 loss against Hapel Jerusalem. Browne is averaging 13.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
Devin Ebanks (Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, France)– Scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in a recent 102-98 victory over Levallois. He is averaging 21.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game for 12-4 Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, the fifth-ranked team in ProA.
Kevin Jones (Ryukyu GK, Japan)– Produced a 17-point, 19-rebound, double-double in Ryukyu's recent 74-64 victory over fifth-ranked Fukuoka Rizing in the Japanese B League. It was Jones' first game for Ryukyu GK this season.
Devin Williams (Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket, Turkey)– Scored seven points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a recent 76-69 victory over third-ranked Darussafaka in the Turkish League. Williams is averaging 18.9 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
John Flowers (La Union, Argentina)– Scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in a recent 89-82 loss to Argentinian La Liga. Flowers is averaging 14.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in nine games so far this season.
Elijah Macon (Cub Deportes Espanol de Talca, Chile)– Macon was the team's leading scorer with 31 points in a recent loss to Chilean Liga Nacional. He is averaging 21.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
