The two-day meet hosted by Bucknell University begins on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. Sunday's events are slated to begin at 10:30 a.m.
Live stats are available at results.leonetiming.com. Additionally, FloTrack will provide a live video stream of the meet at flotrack.org.
"This weekend is exciting on many levels," WVU coach Sean Cleary said. "We'll have almost the entire group in uniform, and we look forward to going back to a venue that has been kind to us in the past. The next three weeks are very important to us in terms of gaining momentum before the championship season. Bucknell presents us with a great opportunity to build upon earlier successes."
The Mountaineers join Army West Point, Buffalo, Cornell, Duquesne, Lehigh, Penn, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and others at Bucknell this weekend. In all, over a dozen Division I programs are set to compete at the meet.
Last time out, the Mountaineers traveled to a pair of meets from March 30-31. WVU competed at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina, while select members of the team participated at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California. West Virginia earned a combined eight top-10 finishes, highlighted by a sixth-place finish in the women's 10,000 meters (section 2) by redshirt senior Maggie Drazba at Stanford.
Drazba earned a personal-best time of 33:51.71, just shy of cracking into the program's all-time top-5 list in the event. Also, out west, redshirt freshman Sarah Wills placed eighth in the women's 5,000 meters (section 4) in a personal-best 17:03.80.
In Raleigh, redshirt freshman Kyrielle Williams took third in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.65 meters (5 feet, 5 inches), while freshman Ellie Gardner finished fourth in the women's pole vault (3.50 meters – 11 feet, 5.75 inches). Redshirt senior Meghan Jean-Baptiste collected a pair of top-10 finishes, as she placed fifth in the women's 100-meter hurdles (14.53) and 10th in the high jump with a mark of 1.60 meters (5 feet, 3 inches).
Additionally, senior Sara Finfrock finished sixth in the women's pole vault invitational with a mark of 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5.50 inches), while junior Faith Penny placed seventh in the women's high jump invitational (1.65 meters – 5 feet, 5 inches). Freshman McKenna Smith finished in 10th place in the women's 200 meters in 24.76.
This weekend marks the third consecutive season in which the Mountaineers will compete at Bucknell. At last year's meet, WVU tallied four wins, all coming in field events. Junior Danique Bryan stole the show, earning a career-best mark of 6.28 meters in her women's long jump victory, good for No. 4 on the program's all-time performance list.
Senior Shamoya McNeil won the women's triple jump with a mark of 13.01 meters at Bucknell in 2017, while redshirt junior Madelin Gardner earned the win in the women's pole vault with a then-career-best mark of 4.00 meters. Additionally, Marseille McBeam won in the women's high jump (1.70 meters).
The Bison Outdoor Classic marks the first of five consecutive weekend meets for West Virginia, which concludes with the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, from May 11-13, in Waco, Texas.
