Throughout the next couple months, each member of the West Virginia University volleyball team will share their thoughts on what it's like being a Division I student-athlete at West Virginia and what makes being a Mountaineer so special. Next up – freshman Briana Lynch.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Hi Mountaineer Nation!
Bri here, giving you a blog for this week! So, I bet everyone is wondering what has been happening in Mountaineer territory?
Well, we all just got back from spring break, and the definition of any spring break is to relax and have fun! Of course, spring break was a blast! I got to go back to Georgia and visit my family and friends. I even visited my high school and relived a bunch of memories by saying hello to my former teachers! I also had the chance to catch my younger brother's lacrosse game!
It was nice to be back home and take a breather from classes and practices for a week. Now, we are all back on campus, finishing the last few weeks of the semester! As a matter of fact, we compete in our first spring match this weekend at George Washington, so I'm excited to step back on the court.
The spring semester is slowly ending, which is sad, because it is so much fun hanging out with the team! It's crazy how fast time flies when you are a Mountaineer! Stay tune for next week's blog, and LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS!
