Rally Time with Natania Levak
February 28, 2018 08:21 PM | Volleyball
Throughout the next couple months, each member of the West Virginia University volleyball team will share their thoughts on what it's like being a Division I student-athlete at West Virginia and what makes being a Mountaineer so special. Next up – sophomore Natania Levak.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Hello Mountaineer Nation! Your favorite foreigner is back with another blog – lucky you!
I'm always starting my blogs in a very humble tone. What's new?
Well, we started our spring practices this week. How exciting?! Up until this point we only worked on individual stuff like strength and conditioning. Last week was test week, so we got to see what our ripped, hulk volleyball bodies can do.
Off the court, it's currently midterm exam season, and it's certainly not the best part of the year if you have two majors. But, I know I'm going to feel like a champ as soon as I get A's on all of them. Nothing less than 100 percent. After all, I'm striving for greatness here.
And if you're wondering if I'm counting down the days until I go back home to Croatia then there's 63 days left. I wish and hope everyone who reads this gets to make a quick trip to my wonderful homeland at least once in their lifetime. The most expensive thing you will pay for is the plane ticket. I promise. And you only have over 1,000 islands to choose from, so good luck with that decision.
All-in-all, the spring semester is the perfect time to focus on volleyball, school and taking care of your body. It's great that we get a lot of free time and a lot of time for quick naps. Who doesn't love naps?! If your answer to that question is me then we can't be friends.
That's all for me folks! Stay tuned for our blog next week. I'm sure it's going to be great!
Nat – OUT!
