Big 12 Men's Tournament Pairings Set

IRVING, Texas - The pairings are set and every team in the conference is ready to head to Kansas City for the 2017 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship. The Kansas Jayhawks earned the regular-season title and will be the No. 1 seed - the 17th outright or shared crown in 21 seasons for KU, which has tied the NCAA record by accomplishing the conference feat 13 years in a row.

Eight of 10 teams finished with 17 wins or more overall, with every single Big 12 team having been ranked or received votes in the top 25 at some point during the 2016-17 campaign. West Virginia earned the No. 2 seed for the second straight season, while Baylor checks in with the third seed. No. 4 Iowa State is next, followed by No. 5 Oklahoma State and No. 6 Kansas State.

First-round games will be played on Wednesday with No. 8 TCU facing No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 7 Texas Tech taking on No. 10 Texas.
