MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men’s soccer coach Marlon LeBlanc and his staff will host two academy camps during the summer of 2017.
West Virginia’s Youth Academy will be held from June 12-15 in Morgantown. The camp is open to any and all entrants from the age four through eighth grade. Each day the academy will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon and cost $150 per person.
The Youth Academy program will be centered on technical development while igniting a passion for the game through fun and enjoyment.
The Youth Academy will provide special rates, including a 15% discount for registration by May 1, 2017, saving $22.50 per entrant. The Mountaineers will also offer a 15% discount per sibling when two or more attend the camp, saving at least $45.
The Collegiate Prep Academy runs from July 12-15. Soccer players entering seventh through 12th grade will learn the same philosophies that the WVU coaching staff uses for its Division I program. The coaching staff will create a competitive and exciting environment for the players to advance their skills.
The academy will cost $500 per person and is limited to 100 participants, including 90 field players and 10 goalkeepers.
