
Promotions Announced for Upcoming Men’s Games

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Upcoming promotions have been planned for several upcoming WVU men's basketball games.
The WVU-Kentucky game on Saturday, Jan. 27, is Stripe the Coliseum, presented by CEC. All fans are asked to wear either gold or blue depending on which section their seats are located. A detailed map of the color layout can be found here: www.wvusports.com/stripethecoliseum.
Coca-Cola will be providing 14,000 LED batons for fans to use to light up the Coliseum when the arena lights go down. The popular act Christian & Scooby will perform at halftime after making their Coliseum debut last season.
The Texas game (Jan. 20) will be a Gold Rush, presented by the West Virginia Lottery. Fans are encouraged to wear gold and the West Virginia Lottery will be distributing 10,000 gold shakers for the matchup against the Longhorns. Guitar artist Kevin Olsen will be featured at halftime.
The Iowa State matchup on Saturday, Feb. 24, will also be a Gold Rush, presented by Staples. WVU Medicine will be providing 10,000 gold foam fingers. Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats at halftime to see flying frisbee dogs.
The Mountaineers' home game on Saturday, Feb. 10, against Oklahoma State is a True Blue contest, presented by Custard Stand Chili. All fans attending the game are encouraged to wear blue. It's also Mountaineer men's basketball alumni weekend through the WVU Varsity Club and former players in attendance will be recognized at halftime.
The Big 12 Conference home opener against Oklahoma (Jan. 6) features hula-hooper, Lauren Resnick, at halftime. The halftime act slated for the WVU-Kansas game (Jan. 15) will have all fans holding their breath in his Coliseum debut – the amazing Chair Master.
Ugly holiday sweater day will be held at WVU's game vs. Fordham on Saturday, Dec. 23.
Two Family Days – Fordham on Dec. 23 and Oklahoma on Jan. 6 – are currently on sale. Get four tickets and a $25 concession voucher for $70 per family package to those games.
