To provide a safer environment for Mountaineer fans and to expedite entry into all ticketed WVU athletic events, the West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics enforces the NFL's Clear Bag Policy. The athletic department invites and encourages fans to visit WVUsports.com/clearbag for more information, to view pictures of permissible and non-permissible items and to obtain answers to frequently asked questions about the clear bag policy.

"The crowd is really going to be huge," Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. "It's a 5 p.m. game, and we know people are going to have to make sure they leave work a bit early. I can't speak enough about our seniors, and I hope our fans recognize that we want to give them a great going-off party here in the regular season. We always want to make sure we have a crowd behind us because conference play is so difficult."

The Mountaineers (12-3, 5-1) look to push their win streak to five Thursday evening, as they have gone 4-0 since falling, 1-0, at No. 17 Texas on Sept. 24. In that span, the WVU offense has outscored its opponents, 11-1.

WVU is 5-2 all-time against the Red Raiders (8-6-1, 1-4-1) and 3-0 in matches played in Morgantown. The Mountaineers have outscored TTU, 12-4, in their last five meetings, including a 1-0 victory in Morgantown on Oct. 14, 2016.

In their last meeting, No. 1-ranked and top-seeded WVU tallied a 3-0 win over No. 8 seed TTU in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals on Nov. 2, 2016, at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri. Forward Sh'Nia Gordon tallied the game-winner in the 15th minute, and forward Heather Kaleiohi and midfielder Carla Portillo added second-half insurance goals. The Mountaineers finished with a 24-10 edge in shots, with eight landing on-frame.

"It's going to be a difficult match. We always give each other a game," Izzo-Brown added. "I know they're going to come here hunting for a win. It's conference time, and everyone is trying to get those points.

"I know Texas Tech has some new players out there, and it's a new team. There will be some similarities (to last season's matches), but both teams have a new identity. There will be some adjustments we will have to make."

The Mountaineers pushed their unbeaten streak in home conference matches to 37 with a 4-0 win over Iowa State on Oct. 13. WVU is unbeaten in its last 23 Big 12 Conference home matches, the longest streak in league history.

Senior midfielder Alli Magaletta netted the game-winner against the Cyclones 6:15 into the match, and the Mountaineers received insurance goals from senior forward Michaela Abam, Kaleiohi and freshman forward Lauren Segalla in the second half. WVU converted three of its season-best 13 corner kicks and held ISU to six shots, none on-goal. The Cyclones are the fourth opponent this season, and first Big 12 team, to not place a shot on-frame against the Mountaineer backline.

Sophomore Rylee Foster is credited with eight of the team's nine clean sheets this year and ranks No. 31 nationally, No. 4 in the conference, with a 0.603 goals-against average (GAA). Abam paces the team with 13 points. She has tallied a team-high five goals, three game-winners, and ranks No. 4 in the Big 12 with a 0.33 goals/game average. Gordon has dished out seven assists and ranks No. 33 nationally, No. 2 in the Big 12, with a 0.47 assists/game average.

In its lone match of the weekend, TTU dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 25 Oklahoma State on Oct. 13, in Lubbock, Texas. The Red Raiders finished with a 13-9 shot advantage but could not overcome an OSU goal in the 69th minute. TTU also earned a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.

Freshman Marissa Zucchetto made her first career start against OSU and finished with three saves. She has played in 15 matches and shows a 0.94 GAA, the sixth-best mark in the Big 12. Freshman forward Ally Griffin paces TTU with 11 points (5 G, 1 A) and ranks No. 4 in the conference with a 0.33 goals/game average.
