Men’s Basketball Exhibition Set For Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s basketball team will play its only exhibition game of the 2016-17 season on Saturday, Oct. 29 against WVU Tech at the King Coal Beckley Automall Arena in Beckley, West Virginia.
The WVU-WVU Tech basketball game will tip at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $25 and available for purchase at WVUGAME.com or by phone at 1-800-WVU GAME.
On Friday, Oct. 28 from 5-6 p.m., there will be a pep rally inside the King Coal Beckley Automall Arena, featuring cheerleaders from both teams, the WVU Dance Team and both mascots. At 6 p.m., fans are invited to attend WVU Tech’s open practice at the King Coal Beckley Automall Arena. At 7:30 p.m., the Mountaineers will take the court for an open practice with a joint autograph session with WVU Tech to follow.
On Saturday, Oct. 29, there will be a free family fun zone and street fair from 1 to 3 p.m. at Word Park on Neville St. in Beckley.
There will be no television or livestreaming for Saturday’s game. The Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG will broadcast on its radio affiliates across the state of West Virginia.
Season tickets, mini-packages and individual tickets for non-conference games are on sale at the Mountaineer Ticket Office by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or visiting WVUGAME.com.
