Cross Country: WVU Stays at No. 7 in Final Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team is ranked No.7 in the final poll, announced today by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Mountaineers remain at No. 7 for the second-consecutive week. Washington once again leads the list, followed by Mid-Atlantic region foes, Villanova and Princeton, while Oregon, Florida and Colorado complete the top six. Rounding out the top 10 is Florida at No. 8, Texas at No. 9 and Stanford at No. 10.
WVU is preparing for a busy weekend with the ECAC Championship in New York on Saturday, Nov. 21, and the NCAA Championship in Terre Haute, Ind., on Monday, Nov. 23.
The Mountaineers received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship on Sunday, marking their third-consecutive, and fifth overall, appearance at NCAAs.
