Terri Young assumed her current role as associate general manager of Mountaineer Sports Marketing from IMG in June 2015. She is responsible for corporate partnership sales and assists the general manager in the property’s daily operations.
Young has more than 30 year’s-worth of sales experience in the Pittsburgh market, beginning with the Pittsburgh Maulers of the United States Football League in 1984. She also worked in sales with the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1987-95 and later served another stint with the organization overseeing advertising and event sales for its practice facility.
In between, she spent three years with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League and also worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2004-06.
Prior to assuming her current position with IMG, Young spent one year in sales with iHeartRadio in 2015.
The Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, native is a Slippery Rock graduate in communications. She has two children, Brett and Lindsey.
Young currently resides in Bethel Park.
