Earned three first-place finishes at Melbourne Victorian Championships in 2017 (1,500 meters, 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters)
Also participated in Perth Australian U18 Championships in 2016, finishing fifth in the 2,000-meter steeplechase and sixth in the 3,000 meters
