- Took fifth in the 1000 free (10:11.38) against Missouri and Missouri State; additionally, finished sixth in the 500 free (5:00.63)

- Attended Lakota East High School and swam for coach Dennis Beck
- Swam club at Lakota Family YMCA under coach Tom Cuticchia
- Three-time state qualifier for Ohio High School State Championships her sophomore through senior year
- Finished fifth in the 500 free at states during her senior year; also took eighth in the 200 IM
- Holds her high school team records in the 500 free (4:54.03), the 200 IM (2:04.36) and the 100 free (52.26)
- Honor student all four years of high school and graduated with a 3.8 GPA
