- Earned a pair of second-place finishes at the WV State Games, including the 200 breaststroke (2:29.21) and the 200 IM (2:11.64), and took third in the 100 breast (1:09.09)
- Additionally, was a member of the 200 medley relay (4th – 1:54.08) and the 400 medley relay (3rd – 4:04.25)
2020-21 (Freshman)
- Swam in a trio of B finals at Big 12 Championships, including the 200 IM (15th – 2:06.06), the 100 breast (16th – 1:06.35), and the 200 breast (2:22.26); also was a member of the 200 medley relay (1:43.98)
- Against Notre Dame, Gerving took sixth in the 100 breast (1:07.67), the 200 medley relay (1:45.97) and the 200 breast (2:24.61)
- Earned a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 200 breast (2:25.71) and the 200 medley relay (1:48.00) at Pitt; also placed sixth in the 100 breast (1:07.54)
