- Additionally, at State Games, was a member of two third-place relays, the 400 medley relay (4:04.25) and the 200 medley relay (1:51.95)

- Dressel reached the finals and placed seventh overall in the 200 back at Big 12 Championships, recording a time of 56.11; also swam in the B finals of the 100 back (12th – 56.11)
- Earned third in the 200 back against Notre Dame, touching the wall in 2:01.15; also, competed in the 100 back (6th – 57.80), the 200 medley relay (7th – 1:48.58) and the 50 free (26.12)
- Finished fourth in the 100 back (57.71) and the 200 back (2:02.72) in WVU’s season-opening meet at Pitt
