- Gustafson took sixth overall in both the 500 free (4:28.31) and the 200 free (1:37.24); also competed in the B finals of the 100 free (9th - 44.14) at Big 12 Championships
- Helped the 800 free relay (6:31.40) and 200 free relay (1:19.73) earn silver medals at Big 12s, while placing third in the 400 free relay (2:55.75)

- Also earned a bronze medal in the 800 free relay at Big 12s, after the team combined to post a time of 6:35.20
- Captured a win in the 500 freestyle in 4:34.25 against George Washington; also finished sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:35.14) and fourth in the 200 free (1:40.98)
