- Tallied three first-place finishes at the WV State Games, including the 100 back (50.44); helped the 400 medley relay (3:23.55) and the 200 medley relay (1:31.36) teams secure their wins
- Additionally, Heimes competed in the 200 back (5th – 1:55.84), the 50 free (11th – 22.24) and the 100 free (51.52) at the State Games
2020-21 (Freshman)

- Competed in four A finals at Big 12 Championships, including 200 medley relay (3rd - 1:27.55), the 400 medley relay (3rd - 3:13.84), 200 back (4th - 1:46.93), and the 100 back (48.93)
- He also competed in the B finals of the 50 free, touching the wall in 21.96 to finish 16th overall at Big 12s
- Finished fourth in the 100 back (50.03) and fifth in the 200 back (1:49.39) against Notre Dame, as well as a member of the 200 medley relay (7th - 1:33.30) and the 400 medley relay (6th - 3:24.75)
- Heimes took third in the 100 back (49.45) and the 200 back (1:49.65), also placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:31.25) in the season-opener at Pitt
