• Competed in multiple events at the 2025 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships
• Finished third in the C final of the 200-yard butterfly (1:51.48) at the U.S. Open Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina
• Placed third in the 500-yard freestyle (4:35.06) against Villanova
• Placed third in the 200-yard butterfly (1:49.61) at the WVU Invitational
• 2025 Winter Academic All-Big 12 Team

2023-24 (Sophomore)

• Competed in the C finals of the 200-yard butterfly (1:48.05) and the 500-yard freestyle (4;35.16) at the 2024 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships
• Placed second in the 200-yard butterfly (1:50.46) event against Villanova
• Finished in second place in the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.67) against Pitt
• Placed second in the 200-yard butterfly (1:51.35) against Cincinnati 
• Finished in second place in the 200-yard butterfly (1:51.47) event against Penn State
• Won the 200-yard butterfly at the WV State Games
• Part of two relay teams that placed second at the WV State Games (400-yard freestyle and the 400-yard medley)
• 2024 Winter Academic All-Big 12 First Team

2022-23 (Freshman)

• Won the 200-yard butterfly at the West Virginia State Games
• Finished in second-place in the 200-yard butterfly against Penn State
• Finished in seventh place (1:49.99) at the 2023 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships
• Second Team All-Big 12 

High School

• Attended les Ortega y Gasset
• Swam club for El Valle, and was their team captain
• A 13-time Spanish National age group champion, including five-time 200 fly, three-time 100 fly and two-time 400 IM
• The 4x100 medley relay age group Spanish record holder
• Santiago is a 27-time Spanish National age group medalist
• Placed fifth in the Mediterranean Cup in 2019, and took second in the 4x1250 freestyle relay
• Additionally, Santiago took second in an international meet in the 200 fly
