West Virginia Football Student-Athlete Academic Support
The mission of the Office of Student-Athlete Academic Services is to empower student-athletes to achieve excellence in the classroom, in athletic competition, in the community, and in life. We provide an inclusive and positive learning environment with the resources necessary for academic and personal growth. We promote the holistic development of transferable life skills and prepare student-athletes for a lifetime of learning.
Our academic staff is made up of seven dedicated individuals who strive to help student-athletes reach their highest potential in the classroom. We have a strong commitment to excellence, with integrity at the core of everything we do. We also create a team atmosphere amongst our colleagues, looking out for each other and helping one another grow.
The Reynolds Family Academic Performance Center is located in the heart of the Puskar Center, our academic center features 35 desktop computers, access to printing, school supplies station, and an open library-style area for tutoring sessions/small group work.

- Our APR score continues to remain consistent with a 982 multi-year score

- 80 Student-Athlete Content Tutors Available
- 3.23 GPA in the 2021-2022 Academic School Year for all WVU student-athletes
- 20+ consecutive semesters of all WVU student-athlete cumulative GPA above 3.0

- 21 Football Student-Athletes enrolled in majors in the Eberly School of Arts and Sciences.
