Where We Stand
- The 2020 updated football schedule has been announced: CLICK HERE
- There will be no spectators for the 2020 season opener vs. Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 12. Fan attendance at remaining games will be evaluated at a later date. More info: CLICK HERE
- Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations from public health officials, plans for potential fan capacity at Milan Puskar Stadium this season are still being discussed. Given the likelihood of a reduced capacity environment should fans be allowed, potential changes to capacity throughout the season, and other guidelines that will be in effect, WVU Athletics has made the difficult decision not to distribute tickets in a season ticket format.
- If reduced stadium capacity allows this season, WVU will offer season ticket holders and Mountaineer Athletic Club members the opportunity to request single game tickets on a priority basis. All requests are subject to availability and would be evaluated and filled based on Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) annual giving levels and priority points rank within that level as of Sept. 1, 2020. This does not apply to premium seating locations.
- All 2019 and 2020 season ticket holders will have the first right to renew their same seat locations for the 2021 season, regardless of their purchase status in the 2020 season.
- Season ticket holders who have already purchased 2020 WVU football season tickets have the following options to consider and help make a lasting impact on our student-athlete experience:
- Apply full amount of ticket (& parking if applicable) payment as a credit towards the 2020 single game tickets. If there is a balance remaining at the end of the season, it will be rolled over as credit towards the 2021 season, unless you contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office to refund the remaining balance
- Convert season ticket payment to a 2020 MAC tax-deductible gift.
- Convert a portion of my ticket (& parking if applicable) payment into a 2020 tax-deductible MAC contribution. (remaining balance refunded)
- Apply full amount of ticket, parking and/or MAC gift (if applicable) payment as a credit towards the 2021 season renewal/purchase. Please note you would lose your 2020 MAC priority status by choosing this option, but would be able to renew same seating locations in 2021.
- Receive refund of tickets/parking and/or MAC gift (please allow 8-10 weeks to process)
- Football season ticket holders that do not select an option by Sept. 15 will automatically have 2020 payments rolled over as a credit towards the 2021 season ticket renewal.
- Please note: If your Mountaineer Athletic Club gift provides priority to lower level or VIP men’s basketball season tickets, this may not apply to your account. Further information regarding adjustments to your account will be sent out at a later date once more guidance is determined for the 20-21 Men’s Basketball Season.
- If fans are not permitted to attend certain games and/or Milan Puskar Stadium capacity is reduced for any 2020 home games, any available tickets will be sold on a single game basis to 2020 Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members and football season ticket holders. Season tickets will not be available and a new ordering process for fans will be communicated, as we work to accommodate as many MAC members and season ticket holders as possible.
- A plan for WVU student tickets will also be determined and announced based on final decisions on fan capacity.
- No decisions have been made at this time regarding parking and tailgating for home games. A formal plan with any restrictions on parking and tailgating will be communicated with the final determination for fan attendance and ticket sales.
- We do not anticipate selling tickets for Big 12 Conference away games due to expected limited capacity at other Big 12 venues.
- Until we have a clearer picture on fan attendance this fall, we are holding on sending season ticket renewal information for men’s and women’s basketball.
